Tru By Hilton Austin Airport, Tx

This location was only six minutes from the Austin-Bergstrom airport!! That really reduced my travel stress in that I could get to the airport so quickly and without much traffic. The breakfast was good - surprisingly they had pre-made tasty omelets with several 'goodies' added in. That high-protein breakfast fueled me for my morning of parking my car, finding the check in counter, checking baggage, getting my boarding pass, going through security and finding my correct gate. I got there early so I even had time (and the energy) to look around the airport a bit. The hotel felt 'new' and the room design was sleek and efficient but brightly colored. A perfect backdrop for focusing in getting ready for the trip ahead.

The hotel checkin experience was very easy, and the location was very close to the airport (about a 5 minute drive). I was kind of shocked with how spacious and nice the hotel was given that I was expecting a small box-ish room for an airport hotel. Also the facilities were great, absolutely above and beyond my expectations.

The hotel's location is ideal, especially for those looking for accommodation near the airport. The parking capacity is neither sufficient nor insufficient; you might need to arrive a bit early to find a spot. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Since I stayed for only one night, I can't say whether it was particularly quiet or noisy. On the night I stayed, nothing disturbed my sleep. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

This is my second time staying here at this location. I'm a huge fan of the Tru by Hilton franchise. Their aesthetic is so fun and welcoming but also very cozy. They're also pet friendly which is a plus! Room sizes are cozy and are always furnished with a nice desk if you need to get some work done. The restrooms are very modern and the showers are great! They do offer complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash in their shower dispenser if needed. Our room also had a fridge to keep any food or drinks cool if needed. Staff has always been friendly at this hotel and I love that the lobby has a lot of fun things to be entertained with (pool table, games etc) and they have great snack/food/drinks/alcohol to choose from and purchase! The gym is also well maintained and has quite a few machines to use!

The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Oatmeal need to be warmer, and the staffer took care of that for me immediately. The shuttle driver was very efficient at getting me back to the airport in a timely manner.
